 Governor Malombe Leads Briefing on CLIDP Initiatives for FY 2024/2025. Thursday, 24 October, 2024. Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe (EGH) today met with Sub-County, Ward and Village Administrators for a briefing on the forthcoming public participation on the Community Level Infrastructure Development Programme (CLIDP) as well as identification and prioritization of the Pro-poor Support Program's beneficiaries and sand dam sites for the financial year 2024/2025. The meeting also aimed to highlight the challenges faced in implementing the projects and discuss ways to overcome them. According to Governor Malombe, the County Government established CLIDP as one of its flagship initiatives in the FY2013/2014 in a bid to promote equitable development, alleviate poverty and improve the livelihoods of county residents. These projects align with the 16-sector priorities for the development and transformation of Kitui, as set in  Hon.Alphonce Mukwayu-MCA & H.E  the Governor Dr. Julius Makau Malombe’s Manifesto.
